Ingredients

  • 5 bunches - spinach
  • 100 g - button mushrooms
  • 15 - green chillies
  • 1 bunch - coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 - onion
  • 1 tbsp - coriander powder
  • 10 - curry leaves
  • 1/4 tbsp - sugar
  • 1/4 tbsp - ajinomoto
  • 2 tbsp - cream
  • 2 tbsp - butter
  • Salt and oil as required

How to Make Palak with mushroom

  • Take a vessel, cook the spinach and keep it aside.
  • Take a frying pan, add oil and fry the chopped onions and green chillies into a paste.
  • Fry the paste till it turns golden brown.
  • Then add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute.
  • Add the spinach paste to this and cook for 3 mins.
  • Add boiled mushrooms to it and cook for 6 mins.
  • Now add ajinomoto, sugar, coriander powder and allow it cook for 2 mins.
  • Remove the pan from stove and transfer to a serving bowl.
  • Add cream and butter and mix well.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
