Ingredients

  • For pancakes:
  • 50 g - plain flour
  • 1-1.5 tbsp - sugar
  • 1 cup - milk
  • 2 tsp - butter
  • 1 egg
  • For honey and orange Sauce:
  • 150 ml - orange juice
  • 30 ml - honey
  • 1 tsp - corn starch
  • 8 scoops vanilla ice-cream
  • To garnish:
  • whipped cream
  • strawberries

How to Make Pancake Filled with Ice Cream

  • To prepare pancakes:
  • Using a hand mixer, combine all ingredients to make a batter.
  • Heat a frying pan 15 cm in diameter.
  • Heat the butter, pour a quarter of the mixture into the pan.
  • Cook on both sides.
  • Repeat process for remaining mixture.
  • To prepare honey and orange sauce:
  • Pour the orange juice and honey into a saucepan and bring to the boil.
  • Thicken sauce with corn starch.
  • Put 2 scoops of vanilla ice-cream on each pancake.
  • Roll the pancakes into tube-like shapes.
  • Cut each pancake into two and arrange on a plate.
  • Pour the honey and orange sauce over the pancakes.
  • Garnish with whipped cream and strawberries.
