  • 1 cup - scrambled paneer
  • 1- onion (chopped)
  • 1- tomato (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup - red and green bell pepper (chopped)
  • 2-green chillies (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp - fennel seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala powder
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • 8- bread slices
  • Butter

How to Make Paneer Bhurji Sandwich

  • Heat enough oil in a pan, pop the fennel seeds and cumin seeds.
  • Add the chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, saute everything for few minutes until the onions turn translucent.
  • Add the chopped green chillies, chopped red and green bell pepper, saute again for a few seconds.
  • Add the turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt, cook everything in medium flame until the bell peppers gets partially cooked.
  • Add immediately the scrambled paneer, cook in high flame for few seconds.
  • Keep aside and let them cool completely.
  • Heat butter in a pan, place a bread slice over the melted butter, toast the bread on one side.
  • Keep toasting the remaining bread slices with the melted butter.
  • Take two toasted bread slices, place enough paneer bhurji, close the top of the bhurji with another toasted bread slice, give a press and cut a two triangles.
  • Serve this sandwich with some simple salads.
