Ingredients

  • 400g - paneer (crumbled)
  • 4 medium-sized - onions (finely chopped)
  • 3 - green chillies (finely chopped)
  • a handful - green peas
  • 4 to 5 tbsp - oil
  • 3 big - tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • 2 tsp - red chilly powder
  • 2 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp - finely chopped coriander leaves (to garnish)
  • salt to taste

How to Make Paneer bhurji with green peas

  • Boil the green peas and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a kadai.
  • Saute onions and green chillies on a low flame till the onions are light pink in colour.
  • Add tomatoes and saute till the tomatoes are a bit tender.
  • Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Saute on a low flame till the oil separates.
  • Add paneer and boiled green peas.
  • Mix it gently and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it hot with rotis.
