Ingredients

  • Basmati rice - 1 cup
  • Paneer - 100 g
  • Onion - 2 medium, chopped
  • Capsicum - 1, chopped
  • Celery - 2 tbsp, chopped
  • Cabbage - 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Ajinomoto - a pinch (optional)
  • Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Spring onion - 1/2 bunch, chopped
  • Salt - to taste

How to Make Paneer Fried Rice with Veggies

  • Soak rice for 1/2 an hour.
  • Add salt and cook it. Keep it aside.
  • In a wok, add butter, saute the onion, till soft.
  • Add all the vegetables, one by one, stirring, for a few seconds.
  • Add paneer and saute, for about 10 to 20 seconds.
  • Then add rice.
  • Fry it, add ajinomoto, pepper powder and salt to taste.
  • Garnish with spring onion.
  • Serve hot with a spicy side dish.
