Ingredients

  • 2 cups - wheat flour
  • 2 tsps - oil
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala
  • Clarified butter
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp - chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp - black pepper powder

How to Make Parath Parantha

  • Mix all the masala powders with salt and pepper, and keep aside.
  • Add the oil to the flour and knead into a dough with some water.
  • Pinch off a ball, roll it out into a thin roti. Apply some ghee on top and sprinkle with the masala powders.
  • Slice the roti into squares and stack them on top of the other.
  • Compress them and then roll out into a roti again.
  • Deep-fry the roti on low flame.
  • Serve hot with sabzi, pickle or chutneys.
