  • 2 - pears
  • 2 tbsp - brown sugar
  • Lemon juice and zest of 1/2 a lemon
  • 75 gms - plain flour
  • 1 tbsp - blanched and toasted almonds
  • 30 gms - butter
  • 50 gms - milk or plain chocolate

How to Make Pear, Chocolate and Almond Crumble

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius.
  • Peel and chop the pears and mix it along with the juice and zest of lemon. Also add the brown sugar and mix well.
  • Mix the plain flour and butter with your fingertips until it resembles like a breadcrumbs, then add the sugar and chopped almonds and mix well.
  • Take two tea cups, add the pears and 2 to 3 pieces of chocolate in each cup. Top it with the crumble topping and add another 2 to 3 pieces of chopped chocolate on top of it.
  • Bake it in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until it looks golden brown on top.
  • Serve warm with ice cream or custard.
