Ingredients

  • 1 cup - green peas, boiled and mashed.
  • 1 tsp - mint leaves, finely chopped.
  • 50 g - potatoes, boiled.
  • 1 slice - bread, fried and cut into cubes.
  • 1/2 tsp - black pepper powder.
  • 3 cloves - garlic.
  • 1 - onion.
  • 1 tbsp - cream.
  • 1/2 tsp - finely cut green chillies.
  • salt to taste.

How to Make Peas and Mint Soup

  • Blend potatoes and green chillies.
  • Heat oil and fry onion and garlic.
  • Add 3 cups water, mashed green peas, potatoes, mint leaves, black pepper, green chillies and salt and simmer it on a low heat.
  • Cool the mixture and strain it in a strainer.
  • Heat the soup once more, garnish with cream and fried bread cubes.
