Ingredients

  • 1 cup - peas
  • 2 tbsp - chopped mango
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 - red chilli
  • 1 tbsp - grated coconut
  • Curry leaves - a few
  • Asafoetida - a pinch
  • For Seasoning:
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds

How to Make Peas Mango Sundal

  • Soak the dry peas in water overnight.
  • Pressure cook the peas for 3 whistles
  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add asafoetida, curry leaves, broken red chilli and then add the cooked peas, salt and mix well
  • Finally add the grated coconut, chopped mango and mix.
  • Serve hot.
