  • rice - 1 cup.
  • Coconut - 1/2 cup.
  • green chillies - 2.
  • Ginger - 1 small piece.
  • green peas - 1/2 cup.
  • oil - 2 tsp.
  • Cardamom - 1.
  • Cloves - 4.
  • Cinnamon - 1.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Coriander leaves.
  • Mustard seeds.

How to Make Peas Masala Bath

  • First grind coconut (grated), ginger, cinnamon, cloves, green chillies, cardamom to a smooth paste by adding little water.
  • In a pressure pan, add oil.
  • Add mustard seeds, then the ground masala and saute well.
  • Clean the rice in running water and add to the masala. Stir well for two minutes.
  • Add the green peas, 2.25 cups of water and salt.
  • Close the pressure pan. Keep for 2 or 3 whistles. Remove from fire.
  • When it cools down, transfer the bath into a bowl and stir it.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve with raita.
