Ingredients

  • Potatoes - 2.
  • Frozen peas - 1/2 cup.
  • Red dry chillies - 2 deseeded.
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp.
  • Coriander powder - 2 tsp.
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp.
  • Ginger finely chopped - 1/2 tsp.
  • Onion - 1.
  • tomato - 2.
  • oil - 3 tsp.
  • Curry leaves - a few.
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Peas Potato Curry

  • Cut potatoes into cubes and half cook in a cup of water with little turmeric. Save the stock.
  • Cut onions, tomatoes, red chillies and ginger.
  • In a pan heat 3 tsp oil, splutter mustard and add red chillies, curry leaves and finely cut ginger and fry till ginger turns golden brown.
  • Add onions, fry till golden brown.
  • Now add half cooked potatoes, chopped tomatoes and fry for few seconds.
  • Now add coriander powder, chilli powder and add potatoes water, salt and peas and boil till done.
