Ingredients

  • French Beans - 250 g
  • Onion (big) - 1
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • A little oil

How to Make Pepper Beans

  • Wash and string the beans. Slit each of them into half along the dividing line.
  • Then chop both halves into 1.5 inch pieces.
  • Slice the onions lengthwise.
  • In a pan, add some oil and fry the onions.
  • Then add the beans, salt and pepper and fry for a while.
  • Sprinkle some water, cover, simmer the flame and cook till done.
  • Serve hot with rice and dal.
