  • 6 - big tomatoes
  • 6 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp - udad dal
  • 1 tsp - channa dal
  • salt - to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - hing

How to Make Perky Tomato Thokku

  • Clean the tomatoes and chop into small pieces.
  • Take a pan with a thick base, heat some oil, add mustard, udad dal, chana dal, and hing powder.
  • Add chopped tomatoes, red chilli powder and salt.
  • Let it boil till it thickens and leaves the sides of the container.
