  • 1 - raw mango
  • 2 tbsp - salt
  • 2 tbsp - red chilli powder
  • 1.5 tsp - mustard powder
  • Sesame or ground nut oil

How to Make Pickled Mangoes in Sesame Oil

  • Chop raw mango into little pieces. Discard the seed.
  • Put the pieces in a bowl and add salt, red chilli powder and mustard powder.
  • Mix them well by adding oil little by little (5 to 6 tbsps).
  • Cover the bowl and leave the mixture overnight.
  • Serve with hot rice, dal and ghee.
