Ingredients

  • 1 small - pineapple.
  • 2 tbsp - sugar.
  • 1 tsp - turmeric powder.
  • 3 tsp - oil.
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder.
  • 1 tsp - flour.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Mix together: (Masala mixture).
  • 2 tsp - cumin seeds.
  • 2 tsp - aniseed.
  • 2 tsp - mustard seeds.
  • 1/2 tsp - fenugreek seeds.
  • 2 tsp - onion seeds|

How to Make Pineapple Chutney

  • Clean and cut the pineapple into small pieces. Heat oil and add half the quantity of the masala mixture.
  • Then add pineapple pieces, turmeric, chilli powder, salt, sugar and 2 cups of water. Cook till the pineapple is done.
  • Add more water if required while cooking the pineapple.
  • Mix the maida with some water to a paste and add this to the chutney.
  • Dry roast the rest of the masala mixture on a dry tawa one by one and powder them coarsely. Add to the chutney.
