  • 1.5 tin condensed milk.
  • 400 gms - whole wheat flour.
  • 100 gms - powdered sugar.
  • 150 gms - ghee.
  • 50 gms - almonds, coarsely ground.
  • For Decorating:
  • a few blanched almonds.

How to Make Pinnies

  • Rub ghee into the flour to get breadcrumb consistency.
  • Fry on medium fire till it turns medium brown.
  • Remove from fire and cool for 5 mins.
  • Add powdered sugar, almonds and mix thoroughly.
  • Add condensed milk in small quantities to get a mixture which is neither too dry not too wet.
  • Form into oval pinnies and leave to cool.
  • Serve decorated with blanched almonds.
