  • 1/2 kg - maida
  • 1/2 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp - soda bi-carbonate
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • Oil
  • Lukewarm water

How to Make Plain Bhature

  • Add baking powder, soda, salt to the maida and knead it into a dough with enough luke warm water.
  • Finally add oil to it and knead again for few seconds.
  • Keep aside for 30 mins (in winter, let it rest for 2 hours). Then roll out into big puris and deep fry.
