  • 6 - steamed idlis
  • 4 - green chillies, slit
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp - urad dal
  • 5-6 - curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Plain Idli Upma

  • Crumble the idlis and keep aside.
  • In a pan take oil and splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add the urad dal, green chillies and curry leaves, saute till urad dal becomes light brown.
  • Add the crumbled idlis, salt and saute well for 6-7 minutes.
