Ingredients

  • Rice noodles - 1 packet
  • Lemons - 2 (big)
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Curry leaves - 1 sprig
  • For seasoning:
  • Peanuts - 1 tbsp
  • Channa dal - 1 tbsp
  • Urad dal - 1/2 tbsp
  • Mustard - 1/2 tbsp
  • Turmeric - a pinch
  • Oil - 1.5 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Plain Rice Noodles

  • Boil water in a saucepan.
  • Add salt to the water followed by noodles. Cook for 2 mins.
  • Drain the noodles and set aside.
  • Heat oil in pan. Add the ingredients for seasoning. Saute.
  • Once the mustard pops, add green chillies and curry leaves. Saute.
  • Add the seasoning to the cooked noodles. Stir to mix well.
  • Add lime juice to the noodles.
  • Serve hot.
