  • For Batter Mixture:
  • 1 cup - sooji (rava)
  • 1 cup - curd
  • Paste of green chillies and ginger
  • 1 tsp - turmeric
  • 1 tsp - Eno fruit salt
  • salt as per requirement
  • For seasoning:
  • Rye and oil
  • For Garnishing:
  • Coriander

How to Make Plain Sooji Dhokla

  • Mix all the above ingredients and make a thick batter (as in idli consistency).
  • Grease a flat bottom plate or vessel and pour the above batter.
  • Steam it in the pressure cooker for about 7-10 minutes.
  • Take out and cut it into square cubes like dhokla shapes.
  • Give a thadka of rye on these dhoklas and garnish it with fresh coriander.
