Ingredients

  • 5 - raw bananas, peeled and cleaned
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry

How to Make Plantain Chips

  • Wash and peel the bananas and pat dry with a kitchen towel and apply turmeric powder lightly over them.
  • Keep aside for 5 mins.
  • Cut them into thin slices.
  • Heat oil and slide the slices of 1 banana at time.
  • Keep stirring it in between and fry till they are crisp.
  • Sprinkle salt when hot.
