  • 1 kg - potatoes.
  • 2 - coconuts, extract about 4 cups of coconut milk.
  • 6 - eggs.
  • 1 kg - sugar.
  • 150 g - maida flour(refined).
  • 6 tsp - rose water.
  • 3 - nutmeg (jaiphal), powdered.

How to Make Potato Bibek

  • Boil and mash the potatoes, without the skin.
  • Extract about 4 cups of coconut milk and mix with the mashed potatoes.
  • Beat the eggs and sugar well.
  • Add the flour to the mashed potatoes.
  • Add the beaten egg and sugar.
  • Mix well and add a little coconut milk, if the batter is thick.
  • Add rose water, a pinch of salt and powdered nutmeg.
  • Heat 4 tbsps of ghee in a vessel and pour the batter into it. Keep it for five minutes, mixing well.
  • Grease a tin, and pour in the batter. Bake in a moderate oven at 150 degree F for 30-45 mins.
