Ingredients

  • 4 - potatoes boiled and mashed well.
  • 2 - eggs, beaten.
  • 1 tsp - chopped mint leaves.
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder.
  • salt to taste.
  • 4 tbsp - oil.
  • 4 tbsp - bread crumbs.
  • 2 tbsp - flour (maida).

How to Make Potato Chops

  • Mix the mashed potatoes with the salt, chopped mint, pepper powder and flour.
  • Form into oval shapes and flatten them with a knife.
  • Heat oil in a flat pan.
  • Dip each potato chop in the beaten egg, roll in breadcrumbs then shallow fry on both sides till they turn brown.
  • Drain and serve as a side dish.
