Ingredients

  • 6 - medium sized potatoes.
  • 2 - eggs.
  • 1 - medium sized onion.
  • 1 - medium sized carrot.
  • 1/2 cup - flour.
  • oil.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

How to Make Potato Latka

  • Wash potatoes and pat them dry with a towel.
  • Grate potatoes, carrots and onion.
  • Add flour, eggs, salt and pepper. Mix all ingredients.
  • Heat oil in frying pan. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and fry till both sides are done.
  • Repeat with rest of the dough.
