  • 2 cup - fresh curds
  • 1 cup - boiled, peeled and mashed potato
  • 1/2 cup - roasted peanuts
  • 1/2 cup - grated coconut
  • 1 tsp - chaat masala
  • 2 green chilies, small
  • 2 cm piece ginger
  • 1 tsp - sugar
  • salt to taste
  • few raisins
  • Roasted cumin powder to sprinkle on top

How to Make Potato Peanut Raitha

  • Mix potato with salt and chaat masala.
  • Shape into 1.5 cm balls, with a raisin in the center.
  • Grind peanuts with coconut, green chili and ginger, coarsely.
  • Beat the curd till smooth and mix with the peanut mixture. Add sugar and salt to taste.
  • Add the potato balls to the curd mixture.
  • Sprinkle roasted cumin powder on top.
  • Serve with chapatti and curry.
