Ingredients

  • Prawns - 1/2 kg.
  • Mango - 1.
  • Coconut - 1/2 cup.
  • Jeera - 1/4 tsp.
  • Methi - 1/4 tsp.
  • Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp.
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp.
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp.
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp.
  • Shallots - 2.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 1/2 cup - water.

How to Make Prawn-Mango Curry

  • Peel and cook prawns with turmeric and salt.
  • Add the mangoes cut into medium pieces, along with coriander and chilli powder.
  • After the mangoes are cooked, add coconut ground with jeera.
  • Add 1/2 cup water. Boil for 5 minutes.
  • Heat 1 tsp of oil. Add mustard and methi seeds, with crushed shallots. Pour this on the cooked curry.
  • Serve the dish with rice.
