Ingredients

  • 1 cup - whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup - barley flour
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/4 cup - pumpkin puree
  • 2 tbsp - olive oil
  • 1/4 cup - sugar
  • 1tsp - baking powder
  • 1 tsp - vanilla extract
  • 2 cups - milk

How to Make Pumpkin Barley Waffle

  • Preheat the waffle maker.
  • Sieve together the flour and baking powder. Beat together the eggs, sugar, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, oil and milk. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients to make a batter.
  • Pour a ladle of batter to the waffle maker until cooked.
  • Serve with a cup of warm milk, with nutella spread ,jam or simply with maple agave syrup.
