Ingredients

  • 1 cup - diced pumpkin and potato
  • 1 tsp - ghee
  • 2 tsp - jeera
  • A pinch of hing
  • 2 - red chilli
  • 2 tsp - haldi
  • 1 tbsp - jeera dhania powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 - green chillies
  • Coriander leaves

How to Make Pumpkin Chhechki

  • Heat one tbsp of ghee in a glass microwave bowl for 3 mins on high power.
  • Add jeera, hing, red chilli.
  • Cook for another 2 mins on high.
  • Add haldi and 1 tbsp jeera-dhania powder (mix well into the ghee).
  • Cook for another 2 mins.
  • Add diced pumpkin and potato pieces.
  • Mix well into masala. Cook for 8 mins.
  • Add salt. Mix thoroughly and cook another 8 mins.
  • Garnish with sliced green chillies and coriander leaves.
  • It is delicious with hot rotis.
