Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - beetroot, boiled and grated
  • 1.5 cups - whole wheat flour/atta
  • 2 -3 tbsp - coriander, chopped fine
  • Chat masala - a pinch
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • Milk as required

How to Make Purple Paratha

  • Mix everything together in a big bowl. Add milk as required.
  • Knead and make a smooth dough.
  • Divide the dough into 5 or 6 equal parts and roll each one of them into 6 inch round circles.
  • Heat a tawa and cook these like normal chapattis.
  • Add half a tsp of ghee on both sides while cooking to keep them soft.
  • Serve with yogurt.
