Ingredients

  • 250 ml - milk
  • 175 g - flour
  • 70 g - butter
  • 55 g - sugar
  • 50 ml - water
  • 1 tbsp - golden syrup
  • 3 tsps - baking powder
  • 25 g - raisins
  • a pinch - salt

How to Make Queen Cakes

  • Beat together butter and sugar until creamy.
  • Add the golden syrup, sifted flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Gradually add the milk and water.
  • Mix the raisins.
  • Stir well and pour it into a greased patty tins using spoons.
  • Bake at 190 degree C for 20-25 mins.
