Ingredients

  • Mango - 1
  • Salmon fish - 1/2 lb
  • Shallots - 5
  • Coconut - 1/2 of a coconut
  • Chilli powder - 1.5 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Curry leaves - a few
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Quic n Easy Kerala Fish curry

  • Marinate fish for an hour with chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and lemon.
  • Cut the mango into small pieces.
  • Grind together coconut, shallots, turmeric powder into a coarse mixture.
  • Heat a little oil in a pan.
  • Crackle mustard seeds.
  • Add curry leaves and green chillies, and saute for a minute.
  • Add the ground mixture along with the fish pieces, mango pieces and mix well.
  • Cover and cook for 15 mins. Serve.
