Ingredients

  • 250 g - Bitter gourd
  • 4 tsp - Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • Turmeric - 1tsp
  • Buttermilk- 2 cups
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Quick Bitter Gourd Curry

  • Wash the bitter gourd, gently scrape of the skin and slit them on the top.
  • Then boil them in butter milk with a little salt and turmeric powder until tender.
  • Drain out the water.
  • Mix chilli powder, salt, jeera and little oil into a paste.
  • Stuff the paste into the slit bitter gourd.
  • Heat 3 or 4 tsp of oil in a pan and fry the bitter gourd until brown.
