Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - chickpeas powder
  • 1 - onion, medium sized
  • 4 slices - bread
  • 1 - green chillies
  • 1 small piece - ginger
  • 1 pinch - asafoetida
  • 1/4 tsp - chilli powder
  • salt

How to Make Quick Bread Pakoda

  • Finely chop the onion, green chilli and ginger.
  • Now make a batter (consistency of dosa batter) with the chopped onion, green chillies, ginger, chilli powder, salt, and asafoetida powder.
  • Slice the bread horizontally and vertically so that you get 4 square pieces out of 1 bread slice.
  • Dip the bread piece in the batter and deep fry it in hot oil.
  • Serve hot bread pakoda.
