  • 1 cup - grated fresh coconut
  • 3-4 - green chillies
  • 5-6 - kadhipatta leaves, chopped
  • 2 tbsp - water
  • 1 tbsp - lemon juice
  • a pinch - dry methi powder
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 1/4 tsp - mustard seeds
  • a pinch - hing
  • a pinch - haldi powder
  • a pinch - methi powder
  • salt and sugar to taste

How to Make Quick coconut chutney

  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard to it.
  • When it splutters, add hing, haldi and methi powder and stir.
  • Add chilly and kadhipatta pieces along with water.
  • After a few seconds, add coconut, salt and sugar to it.
  • Stir for a few seconds and turn off the stove.
  • Add lemon juice and stir and garnish with fresh coriander.
