  • 200 grams - macaroni
  • 2 tsp - butter
  • 1 cup - of any left over cooked meat (shredded)
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 large tomato chopped
  • 1 tsp - pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - grated cheese
  • 1 tsp - mixed herb powder

How to Make Quick Macaroni Hot Pot

  • Cook the macaroni for 6 to 8 minutes in boiling salted water. Drain off the hot water, pass cold water over it then drain and keep aside.
  • Heat the butter in a pan and saute the onions for a few minutes. Add the tomatoes and fry till soft.
  • Add the meat, Pepper, salt and mixed herbs and mix well simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and mix in the cooked macaroni.
  • Transfer to a greased baking dish and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
  • Bake in a moderate oven (355 degrees) for 15 to 20 minutes till the cheese melts and turns slightly brown.
  • Serve with steamed vegetables or a green salad.
