  • 500 g-basmati rice
  • 100 g- ghee
  • bay leaves and garam masala to taste
  • 2 tbsp each- ginger, garlic and chilli paste
  • 1 cup- yogurt or curd
  • 1 cup- chopped mint leaves
  • salt
  • 1 bunch-mint leaves for garnishing

How to Make Quick Mint Pulao

  • Soak rice in water for an hour and then drain. Put a wok on fire and add ghee.
  • When hot add bay leaves and garam masala.
  • Add ginger, garlic and chilli paste and simmer.
  • Add mint leaves, salt, water and the rice.
  • When the water starts boiling, lower the flame and let the water dry.
  • Take out of fire. Garnish with chopped mint leaves and serve hot.
