Ingredients

  • Mushrooms - 1 cup (chopped)
  • Peas - 1 cup
  • Onion - 1 (sliced finely)
  • 1/2 - capsicum (green bell pepper), finely chopped
  • 1 - tomato, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp - tomato ketchup
  • 1 - green chilli, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - jeera
  • 1 tsp - kitchen king powder
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp - butter
  • Salt - to taste

How to Make Quick Mushrooms and Peas Curry

  • Take a heavy-based pan, heat it and melt butter.
  • Put chopped mushrooms and saute at high flame. Sprinkle salt on it and let the mushrooms dry.
  • When it is sauteed, take out and keep aside.
  • In the same pan, put jeera, onions, capsicum, peas, salt and saute them also on high heat.
  • When onions are a little brown, mix tomatoes and let it dry a little.
  • Now mix sauteed mushrooms, kitchen king powder, garam masala, chilli powder and chopped chilli.
  • Fry for another 2 minutes then mix ketchup, and then fry for one more minute.
  • Serve hot with roti or paratha.
