  • Beetroot - 1
  • sugar - 1/2 cup
  • ghee - 2 tbsp
  • cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  • nutmeg powder - 1 tsp
  • For the garnishing:
  • pista (chopped) - as needed

How to Make Quick n Easy Beetroot Halwa

  • Peel the beetroot and grate it.
  • Now, in a kadai, pour the ghee and add the grated beetroot.
  • Stir fry till the beetroot gets soft and cooked and it absorbs the ghee well.
  • Then, add the sugar and keep stirring till the sugar dissolves.
  • Add the cardamom powder and nutmeg powder.
  • Then switch off the gas and place the beetroot halwa on a serving dish.
  • Garnish with chopped pista and cashew roasted in ghee and serve delicious beetroot halwa.
