  • 2 cups of mango puree
  • 1/2 cup castor sugar or to taste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp lemon rind
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • a few mango slices or cherries
  • pudina leaves - as needed

How to Make Quick n Easy Mango Sorbet

  • Place sugar and water in a saucepan and stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and cool.
  • Mix and stir in sugar syrup, lemon rind and lemon juice.
  • Now, place the sorbet into an air-tight container and keep it in the freezer to set.
  • Just before serving, transfer the sorbet to the blender and churn a little.
  • Now scoop out the sorbet using an ice-cream scooper and serve immediately, garnished with mango slices and mint leaves.
