Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Ragi/Finger millet
  • 1/2 cup - Channa dal
  • 1/4 cup - Toor dal
  • 1/2 cup - Yellow split moong dal
  • 1/4 cup - Urad dal
  • 3 - Dry red chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - Fennel seeds
  • Salt - to taste

How to Make Ragi Paruppu Dosai

  • Soak the ragi along with all dals for at least 4 hours.
  • Grind the soaked dals and ragi with dry red chillies and fennel seeds after adding enough water and salt into a slightly coarse paste.
  • Heat a non-stick pan.
  • Pour a ladle of the ragi paruppu adai batter, drizzle the oil and cook on both sides until the adai gets well cooked.
  • Serve this nutritious paruppu dosai with coconut chutney.
