Ingredients

  • 2 cup - maida
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • 1/2 tsp - mixed spice powder
  • 1/2 cup - butter
  • 1 cup - raisins
  • 2 tbsp - candied peel, chopped
  • 1/2 cup - milk
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • 3/4 cup - sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp - white vinegar
  • 1.5 tsp - soda bi carbonate
  • For Topping:
  • 2 tbsp - jaggery powder
  • 2 tbsp - oats

How to Make Raisin Cake (Eggless)

  • Mix Maida with salt and spice powder.
  • Add butter and mix lightly with finger tips. Stir in raisins and candied peel.
  • Combine milk and water. Dissolve sugar in it. Add vinegar and soda.
  • Add this liquid to the Maida mixture. Beat till smooth.
  • Pour in a greased, 8 and a half inch microwave cake dish.
  • Mix jaggery and oats together and sprinkle on top.
  • Cook on Hi for 8-10 minutes. Standing time 10 minutes.
