Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - urad dal (black gram split)
  • 4 tbsp - chana dal
  • 4 tbsp - cumin seeds
  • 1.5 tsp - asafetida
  • 1.5 tsp - fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tbsp - black pepper
  • 5 to 6 dry red chilies
  • 1 tbsp - coriander seeds
  • 8 to 10 curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp - oil

How to Make Rasam Masala

  • Saute all the ingredients in a kadai with the oil till red and gives out an aroma.
  • Cool completely.
  • Grind all this to a fine powder.
