  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • ?cup - sugar
  • 2 tbsp - ghee
  • 3 cardamoms, powdered

How to Make Ratalya Cha Shira (Sweet Potatoes in Sugar)

  • Scrub the sweet potatoes well. Grate them with their skin on.
  • Heat ghee in a skillet and saute the grated sweet potato in it. When well sauteed, reduce the heat and let it cook.
  • After 10-15 minutes and occasionally stirring, the potatoes should be done. Mix in the sugar and cardamom.
  • Serve hot as a sweet. With whipped cream this easily becomes a western desert.
