  • 1 cup - rava
  • 1 cup - curd/buttermilk
  • 1/2 - finely chopped onion
  • 1 - finely chopped tomato
  • 2 - finely chopped green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Rava Uttapam

  • Preparation:
  • Add rava and curd in bowl very well (if needed add water).
  • Add chopped onion, tomato, green chillies and coriander in the mixture.
  • Add salt and red chilli powder in it and mix it very well. Make a smooth mixture.
  • Heat the pan on medium flame.
  • Put some of the batter on tava and spread it with serving spoon.
  • Apply some vegetable oil along the sides of spread. Cover it and cook.
  • When it becomes golden brown on one side, flip and cook the other side.
  • Serve hot with green chutney or coconut chutney.
