Ingredients

  • 2 medium sized - raw plantains
  • 1 medium-size - potato
  • 2 to 3 - green chillies
  • 1 small piece - ginger
  • 10 to 12 - curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup - bread crumbs
  • oil for frying
  • sugar to taste
  • salt to taste

How to Make Raw plantain wada

  • Grind together the chillies, ginger and curry laves. Keep side.
  • Boil plantains and potato after you peel them. Then mash them.
  • Add ground paste, lemon juice and salt. Mix and prepare flat pattis.
  • Roll in the breadcrumbs and deep fry it until it is golden in colour.
