Ingredients

  • Rawa (Semolina) - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 1.5 cups
  • Kesari colour - A pinch
  • Ghee - 4 tbsps
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Cashew nuts - A few
  • Water - 3 cups

How to Make Rawa Kesari (Microwave)

  • In a microwaveable bowl, add 2 tbsps of ghee and rawa and mix well.
  • Microwave it on high for 3 minutes.
  • Then add 3 cups of water, sugar and colour. Mix well, so that no lumps are formed.
  • Microwave on high again for 5 minutes.
  • Take it out and stir well and make a hole in the middle.
  • Add the remaining ghee and put the cashews in it. Microwave on high for 2 more minutes.
  • Finally add cardamom powder, mix well and serve when cool.
