  • 1 cup - rawa
  • 1/2 cup - all - purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup - sugar
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/2 - ripe banana (optional)
  • 2 - cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp - cooking soda
  • oil

How to Make rawa Paniyaram

  • Beat egg till it becomes fluffy.
  • Now add sugar, rawa, flour, soda and powdered cardamom and mix well.
  • Mash the banana and add to the mix.
  • The mix should be as thick as a vada mix. But if it is too thick, you can add a little water.
  • Leave the mix to set for at least 20 minutes.
  • Now heat the oil in a frying pan and drop small balls of mix with a spoon
  • Fry till it turns golden brown and remove the excess oil with a paper towel.
