Ingredients

  • 8 slices - sandwich bread
  • 4 slices beef or mutton roast
  • 2 onions chopped coarsely
  • 2 tbsp - chopped celery or coriander leaves
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 4 tsp - butter
  • 4 tbsp - mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 - lettuce leaves

How to Make Roast Meat Spread Sandwiches

  • Coarsely grind the meat roast, celery/coriander leaves and chillies.
  • Now mix in the mayonnaise, chopped onion, pepper and salt to taste.
  • Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  • Spread the roast meat spread on 4 slices of bread.
  • Cover with the lettuce leaves and top with the remaining slices.
  • Cut away the edges and cut diagonally.
