  • 150 g - all - purpose flour
  • 50 g - Sugar
  • 1 - Egg
  • 1 - Banana(mashed)
  • 1.5 - Apple
  • 1 tsp - Vanilla essence
  • 50 g - Butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp - Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Bicarbonate of soda
  • Lemon juice - 1/4 tsp.

How to Make Rose Apple Muffin

  • Take half the apple, peel and chop it.
  • Now add a knob of butter in a pan and cook the chopped apple until it softens.
  • Let it cool.
  • Now cut the whole apple and slice it finely with the skin.
  • Then add a knob of butter to the pan and cook the sliced apples until soft.
  • Add the lemon juice and remove from heat.
  • Now sift the flour, baking powder and soda in a large bowl, add the sugar and mix well.
  • Then add the chopped and cooked apples to the mixture and coat well.
  • Beat the eggs, vanilla essence and banana.
  • Add the melted butter to it and mix it again.
  • Now add the all the ingredients and combine well.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius.
  • Grease the muffin tray with butter.
  • Then spoon the mixture into the tray.
  • In the meanwhile make floral shapes separately in a plate. Take the sliced and cooked apples and start forming rose petals by gently folding them. Place this on top of the mixture.
  • Bake the muffins in the preheated oven for 20- 25 minutes.
  • Now insert a skewer on the side to check if it's cooked.
  • Remove from oven and cool it for 5 mins in the cooling rack.
  • Serve warm.
