Ingredients

  • Rice 2 cups
  • Onion - 1, medium size
  • Tomato - 1, medium size
  • Garlic - 7 to 8 cloves finely chopped
  • Soya sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar - 2 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Salt as required
  • 2 cups - Mixed vegetables like carrot, beans, cauliflower and cabbage. (These vegetables should be cut in large pieces)
  • One small cucumber cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 - Lemon

How to Make Sauteed Thai Fried Rice

  • Wash and cook rice in such a way that each grain is separate.
  • Place a karahi with oil on a high flame.
  • Add finely chopped garlic. Stir fry.
  • Add onions and fry for a minute.
  • Add tomato.
  • Add the mixed vegetables and salt. Keep on stirring till the vegetables are done.
  • Add rice, soya sauce, vinegar, sugar and chilli powder.
  • While serving garnish it with cucumber slices and lemon wedges.
